IMDS-2017

Over the years the International Maritime Defence Show for JSC «Concern «Granit-Electron» is used to be the significant platform for business communication between experts on issues of military-technical cooperation development and international partnership. IMDS enables to promote actively the hi-tech Concern’s military, civil and dual-purposes production on global and domestic markets.

Thus, JSC «Concern «Granit-Electron»’s exposition in IMDS-2017 was visited by the governmental delegations from Socialist Republic of Vietnam, headed by the President Tran Dai Quang, the Naval forces leadership of Federative Republic of Brasil, headed by the Admiral of the fleet, the chief of the Brasil Naval logistic Luiz Henrique Caroli, as well as authorities delegations from India, Iran, Vietnam and Azerbaijan.

Georgii Korhavin, the General director of JSC «Concern «Granit-Electron» presented the most cutting-edge radio-electronic warfare systems and information management systems being designed, supplied or ready to be supplied by the enterprise in the framework of military-technical cooperation programs as well as for the Russian Navy. It was also announced by the management of the Concern about the readiness to cooperate with foreign customers in the field of after sale product support, spare parts supply, life cycle maintenance and service support of the earlier supplied military equipment.

Among the guests, interested in the Concern’s production, were: the President of the National Research Center «Kurchatov Institute» Kovalchuk M.v. with the representatives of the Institute, the delegation from St. Petersburg government, headed by the Vice-Governor S. N. Movchan, the Vice-President of JSC «United shipbuilding corporation» Strugov L.v. , representatives from Academy of Sciences of the Russian Federation, profile R&D centers and departments of Naval Academies, officers of fleets.

The cooperation of the Concern with Peter the Great Saint-Petersburg Polytechnic University, presented during IMDS, attracted much attention of young people preparing to enter Universities and looking forward to study engineering specializations.

During IMDS-2017 the engineers of «Granit-Electron» consulted more than 300 specialists of the related industries. The actual contract issues were discussed regarding operation of equipment and systems, further cooperation perspective plans were touched upon.

JSC «Concern «Granit-Electron» was awarded with Diplomas in the best exposition nomination and in the best exhibit nomination, signed by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, the chairman of IMDS organizing committee Dmitry Rogozin.

In fact, the exposition was dislocated in that way so that to demonstrate the best systems and equipment of the Concern’s activities, so it made possible to realize all the tasks of the Concern effective activity in IMDS-2017.
