Cooperation with Universities

JSC «Concern «Granit- Electron» cooperation with universities is aimed at educational process modernization, when educational goals unite with the tasks of scientific research and development work of Concern. It is also aimed at targeted professional training, retraining and qualification improvement.

Cooperation mechanisms are based on unification of partners’ intellectual potential, material, financial and corporate resources. Concern adapts classrooms and laboratories for implementation of mutual issues. It includes equipping with all items required for educational and research processes.

The main goals of Concern’s partnership with universities:

  • providing high quality professional training of graduates;
  • increase the level of fundamental and practical research conducted jointly with universities;
  • providing innovation character of practical research conducted jointly with universities.

The leading members of Concern continue to teach in St. Petersburg universities. The number of employees of Concern are members of universities academic councils. Meanwhile, universities’ employees are members of dissertation council of Concern.

Two basic departments — department of Information-computer complex and department of On-board control — function in Saint Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation as well as department of Problem-oriented computing systems, headed by ph.d. in engineering science, prof. G. A. Korzhavin, General director of JSC «Concern «Granit- Electron» since 2005 to 07.08.2020.

In Baltic State Technic University «VOENMEH» named after D. F. Ustinov there is base department I9 — Information processing systems.

In 2016, base department of Hardware and software systems in real time of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University was founded in Concern.

Objectives of the basic departments:

  • professors (faculty), students, graduate students and doctoral students of universities assistance and participation in researches on Concern’s subjects
  • skilled personnel training in interests of both Concern and military industrial enterprises of Russian Federation
  • participation in universities’ educational programs.
