"Army-2020" Forum results

During «Army-2020» Forum JSC «Concern «Granit-Electron», headed by the General Director Igor Ponomarev, presented the latest state-of-the-art technologies and innovative solutions of military and dual purposes products, conducted productive business meetings and negotiations with prime contractors’ representatives and defense experts, focusing on effective promotion of Russian-made warfare products to the world market.

A joint exhibition area of «Tactical Missiles Corporation» was attended by: Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Government Borisov Y. I., Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Ryazantsev O. N., Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Pankin A. A., Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Russian Federation Razinkin A.V. , Deputy General Director of JSC «Rosoboronexport» Chekmarev A. L., delegations of embassies and ministries of Kazakhstan, India, Iran, and Armenia.

Meetings were held with the representatives of Indian and Vietnam companies on issues on after sale support of the prior supplied warfare systems, being in service in those countries’ Navies. The sides outlined further steps to develop mutual perspective cooperation.

«Tactical Missiles Corporation» enterprises civil products were of particular interest for the exhibition’s visitors. The official delegations from Moscow, Saratov, Sverdlovsk and Perm regions found out more about the latest developments of our civil R&D activities. A subsidiary of Concern «Granit-Electron» JSC «Severniy press» has exhibited the project «Autonomous power supply equipment», based on an internal combustion type engine with a wide range of applications, in particular, for equipping special purpose machinery, for UAVs and light jets. This initiative solution, presented by the engineer of JSC «Severniy press» Vladislav Mikheev, participates in corporate HR contest for defense industry of the Russian Federation «Tekhnolider». Ph. D. of engineering science Vladislav Mikheev, as a young, successful and talented engineer, has all possibilities to implement his scientific and technical ideas.

A new commercial version of «Kudesnik» system, a VR simulator — attraction «Parachutist», developed by JSC «Severniy press», was presented at the open exhibition area. The project «Parachutist», in addition to the primary parachute training for young people patriot organization, also assumes its exclusively civilian purpose as an entertainment system. This equipment is certified according to the norms of the EAC and ready for serial production.

At «Army 2020» Forum, Concern «Granit-Electron» in cooperation with Peter the Great Saint Petersburg Polytechnic University presented the project «Cyberboat -330» surface unmanned platform. The platform has an autonomous control system and a wide range of applications: it can be used for SAR operations, for exploring the World’s oceans, for environment and fish stocks monitoring, and for a sea bottom mapping. R&D companies for the development of civil marine equipment, environmental services of the Russian Federation and as well as foreign customers have shown a great enthusiasm of that work.

The Forum was also useful for its extensive scientific and business program. Specialists of the Concern took part in plenary sessions, conferences and round tables on the main issues of the company’s activities.
The conference «Arctic: yesterday, today, tomorrow under Russia’s national interests» traditionally unites experts, much concerned in the development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation, and gives participants the opportunity to be aware of current scientific and practical issues on this agenda.

To engage substantively on Arctic issues, we continue to advance our technology to create unified information network as well as to equip Arctic offshore with dual purpose maintenance-free remotely controlled coastal radars, united in integrated system for surface monitoring in Arctic zone. The development of the Arctic is one of the company’s priorities.

Our innovative solutions attracted the attention of Federal media with breaking news on TV, press agencies and social media.
